After scoring a brace in Real Madrid's 2-1 win over Eibar on Saturday, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was described as being "from another galaxy" by manager Zinedine Zidane.

Ronaldo Now Leading Goalscorer In 2018

The 33-year-old's match-winning display saw him leapfrog his rival Lionel Messi's goalscoring tally of 32 for the season, and also saw him find the back of the net in seven consecutive matches.

After the game, Zidane had nothing but praise for the Portuguese attacker's ability.

"For me, he's from another galaxy," the French tactician said, as quoted by Football Espana.

"He knows that he will score. He is a different, special player. The statistics speak for themselves."

The coach also admitted Los Blancos were lucky to get all three points, and praised Eibar for their performance.

"It's a very special win, although they were clearly better than us and had a great game, especially in the first half," Zidane added.

"We know that this pitch is very complicated. They're having a good season, fighting for Europe, so we knew we had to suffer.

"We suffered with the ball, but we knew that we had other things to give. With character and fight, we got three more points."
