SuperSport United have confirmed the addition of two bright prospects to their first team this season.
Matsatsantsa a Pitori have changed the club's transfer policy in recent times which has seen them place their faith in youth as opposed to roping in marquee signings.
In keeping with that policy, the club on Friday confirmed that they have snapped up two exciting young players both aged 20.
Midfielder Keegan Johannes and goalkeeper Putco Khoza have been added to coach Kaitano Tembo's squad after penning two-year deals with the club respectively.
"We are delighted to announce the signatures of goalkeeper Putco Khoza (20) and Keegan Johannes (20) on two-year contracts with options to extend," a statement read from the club.
Club CEO Stan Matthews has touted the two youngsters to become household names in South African football in the near future.
"Putco is an impressive young goalkeeper who has caught the eye of our goalkeeping coach Grant Johnson and has impressed both Andre Arendse and Kaitano Tembo while training with us. Training with Ronwen, George and Baolefa can only make him a great prospect for the future."
"Keegan is the ideal type of player we as SuperSport United love. He can play in three positions, he is young and ambitious , and very talented. Alongside the likes of Luke Fleurs , Keenan Philips and Jesse Donn, we feel Kegan Johannes will become a household name in South African football and play a big part in the future of our Club," he said.
