Bloemfontein Celtic's PRO, Sello Nduna, told the Siya crew that the club is fully behind their players, particularly goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb and defender Wandisile Letlabika who were involved in a shoving altercation following conceding a poor goal against Mamelodi Sundowns, when Letlabika failed to clear his lines.

Nduna declared that a meeting was held on Monday morning at the club, in which both players and the rest of the squad where addressed by the management of Siwelele.
"The meeting was to bring players together and motivate them and clear any divisions in the team that might have resulted in yesterday's incident," said Nduna.
"We are fully behind our players and the management wanted to declare that to our players. Our team prepared as best as they could. What happened took place in the heat of the moment."
"Ultimately, we wanted to communicate to our players that the team is more important and we should look past events of that game and focus on our next games," added Nduna.
