Al Ahly's bosses have reportedly made a final decision on coach Jose Riveiro after the loss to Palmeiras on Thursday.
The Egyptian giants went down 1-0 to Palmeiras in their second clash at the FIFA Club World Cup, handing the Spanish coach his first loss.

Riveiro has faced some heavy criticism in the last week after the side's slow start to the tournament, but the club's hierarchy have no desire to sack the coach.
Kooora have reported claims they understand the frustration of the supporter's after Thursday's loss, but they will be sticking with Riveiro.
"Riveiro will continue in his position and will not leave," a source told Kooora.
"Al-Ahly contracted with the coach with the aim of improving the team's performance, and it is illogical to evaluate him after playing only two official matches."
"The club's management understands the fans' anger over the loss to Palmeiras, but the coach is working hard and diligently."
"Throughout its history, Al-Ahly's management has never held coaches accountable on a piecemeal basis. They are treated on a full-season basis."
