Chiefs-Linked Attacker Lands 'New Deal'

An attacker linked with Kaizer Chiefs has reportedly secured a new deal ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Soccer Laduma reported earlier this month that Chiefs might need to look at Young African versatile star Maxi Nzengeli as a potential target.

However, the Guardian are now reporting that Yanga have already finalised a new deal for Nzengeli.

The report claims that Nzengeli, who can play multiple positions, has already put pen-to-paper on a two-year extension.

"The information that has been circulating on social media is nothing but propaganda," the insider told the Guardian.

"Those spreading it know their motives, but the truth is that Maxi has already signed a new two-year contract."

Yanga have already lost the services of star winger Stephane Aziz Ki to Wydad Casabalnca, while striker Clement Mzize has also been linked with a departure.
