An experienced coach has become available to suitors after being relieved of his duties with one of the Nedbank Cup quarter-finalists.
"Pretoria Callies FC have parted ways with assistant coach Selaotse 'Sly' Mosala with immediate effect. Mosala spent over two seasons with the Romans as the assistant to head coach Sammy Troughton. Together with Troughton, they promoted Callies to the GladAfrica championship league for the 2020/21 season," the club confirmed in a statement.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the side, club chairman Moses Malada said, "Sly is a good coach with great work ethic and it's been great having him as part of our technical team since he joined us over two years ago. However, we wish him all the best in his career and once more we thank him for granting us the opportunity to work with him."
Meanwhile, promotion-chasing side Sekhukhune United has confirmed appointing Mosala as asistant to head coach Macdonald Makhubedu.
Mosala's representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi had this to say about the move, "Coach Sly Mosala is a great coach whom I have been following for some time and have been impressed with his work ethic. I am happy that the Chairman Mr Simon Mlatji and CEO Mr Jonas Malatji were keen to have him on board to work with coach Makhubedu. Coach Mosala is good at helping his teams to have a good defensive structure which is something that has sometimes let Sekhukhune down in their matches this season. With his acquisition, I have no doubt that he will help the team to achive their goal and that is to win promotion to the topflight. The chairman and CEO who have invested a lot in this club will be delighted to see that happen."
