How Much Mamelodi Sundowns Stand To Win This Season

MTN8

Mamelodi Sundowns are currently making a run for all competitions in the 2016/17 campaign, playing more competitive matches than any other PSL side, but just how much do they stand to win this season?

The Siya crew takes a look at the figures Masandawana could cash in on at the end of the campaign. Given their arguably unstoppable form, strong technical team and the new additions to their playing roster, Pitso Mosimane could lead his side to fruitful victories this season.

MTN8

The Brazilians progressed to the semi-finals of the MTN8 competition after beating Tshwane rivals SuperSport United 3-1.

Masandawana will now face hosts Chippa United in a two-legged semi-final, with the first fixture scheduled to take place on Sunday 11 September.

Prize money = R8 million

Telkom Knockout

The Telkom Knockout fixtures are yet to be announced, but as they are the reigning champions of this competition, Masandawana will look to go all the way to defend their title.

Prize money = R4.25 million

Nedbank Cup

The Nedbank Cup fixtures are still set to be announced. However, Sundowns will come up against the likes of Matsatsantsa, who will look to defend the cup this season.

Prize money = R7 million

Absa Premiership

Still set to play their first fixture of the campaign, defending champions Masandawana will look to secure the seventh Absa Premiership title in the club's history.

Prize money = R10 million

CAF Champions League

Sundowns are the only South African team in this current competition, having already cemented their place in the semi-finals, where they will face ZESCO United in a two-legged tie. If the Brazilians win this competition, they will be crowned champions of the continent.

Prize money = R21.48 million

Total = R50.73 million
