Free State Stars are close to concluding a deal with Thapelo Tale. The Lesotho international impressed the Ea Lla Koto technical team, after training with the Bethlehem outfit.
The striker has been playing for FC Likhopo in the Lesotho Premier League. The 26-year-old is highly rated in the Mountain Kingdom for his high work-rate and eye for goal.
FC Likhopo's Public Relations Officer, Katleho Mahamo, confirmed to the Siya crew that Nana, as Tale is known in football circles, is finalising his move in preparation of his first season in the PSL.
"He (Tale) is already training with Free State Stars, but the deal has not yet been completed. It is almost completed. They are just finalising some small things. We're sure that he is joining Free State Stars for the coming season. The team (Likhopo) has already replaced him, so it's a done deal. We are just waiting for his signature. He is a very good player. He has played in Europe before. He is a very strong striker," said Mahamo.
Tale had links with FK Srem and FC Andorra from Serbia and Spain respectively in his promising career.
