A former Free State Stars defender will be back to playing professional football this season after he has been signed by a club.
Having spent some time without a club after leaving Free State Stars, Ricardo Ndiki has been signed by Swallows FC in the GladAfrica Championship.
The right-back confirmed to the Siya crew that he has signed a short-term deal to run until the end of the season with the Dube Birds.
The 23-year-old could be considered for selection for Swallows for this afternoon's match against Richards Bay FC at Dobsonville Stadium.
Despite the hype prior to the season about Swallows' ambitions to return to Mzansi's elite league this season, the going has been tough in the second tier league for the club so far, with the team currently sitting in 12th place on the log with only two wins from nine matches.
