Highlands Park and Cape Town All stars are in the driving seat after each netted three goals against Magesi FC and Sibanye Golden Stars, respectively on the opening day of the ABC Motsepe League Play-Offs in Durban.
Following Park's 3-2 Group B win over the Limpopo champions, All Stars whipped the Free State winners 3-0 with goals from Marawaan Bantam Marcelino Johnson and Amigo Memela to top Group A.
The other result in Group A was a goalless draw between Shining Star of the North West and the Eastern Cape's Angavu Stars.
But Group B's second match was postponed until Thursday after Natal United won their DC case over Kings United.
"The Dispute Resolution has ruled in favour of Natal United," said Jeff Monnakgotla Safa's Director of Competitions.
