Aston Villa captain and England star Jack Grealish has been linked with a big move to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed an incredible start to the 2020/21 season after helping the Villans retain a place in the Premier League on the final day of the previous campaign.
Grealish, who scored the goal that ultimately secured his side's spot in England's top flight this season, has already contributed to 10 strikes in seven 2020/21 EPL matches, and has recently found himself taking on a bigger role in Gareth Southgate's England side.
Now, according to the Daily Star, the midfielder is on Guardiola's transfer shortlist at City, who might consider splashing £75 million (R1.5 billion) to secure his signature.
Grealish has also been heavily linked with Manchester United over the past year, but signed a five-year deal with his boyhood club ahead of the current season to put those rumours to bed.
Despite England's 2-0 loss to Belgium in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday night, the Villa skipper was hailed as "outstanding" by manager Southgate, who also admitted that Grealish will continue to climb the pecking order for the Three Lions with performances like that.
The attacking midfielder is five matches away from 200 appearances for Villa's senior team, for whom he has featured since 2013.
