Talented SuperSport United youngster, Morne Nel, and three other Matsatsantsa youngsters will get the opportunity to train with Tottenham Hotspur’s youth in England.
Nel, 17, as well as Denwin Farmer, Zama Rambuwane and Kabelo Seriba will spend nine days in England with Spurs’ U18 squad and will be accompanied by the SuperSport academy technical manager, Godfrey Mosoetsa.
Nel, despite being registered for Cavin Johnson’s first team this season, is still young enough to be eligible for selection and will be hoping to show Spurs a bit more of the potential he displayed against Manchester City in their preseason tour of South Africa earlier this year.
Mosoetsa told the United’s official website, “The purpose of the trip is to assess the level of our youth players in relation to that of their counterparts.
“This has got nothing to do with trials, but it is about giving the youngsters the international exposure and experience that will be of utmost importance in their future football careers.”
While the technical manager insists that there is no element of a trial for the talented quartet, should they impress during their short spell in London, it will surely do their futures no harm at all.
