Platinum Stars will not underestimate the Kaizer Chiefs as they lock horns in the league, according the Dikwena coach Cavin Johnson.

Stars are in Johannesburg for the game against the Amakhosi at FNB Stadium tonight, and Johnson believes he has prepared his team well for Steve Komphela's side.
"It could be your downfall if you underestimate Chiefs. You never ever underestimate Chiefs. It's a two edged sword. I don't look at the pressure that Chiefs are under at the moment. They are a big team so it's normal to be under pressure. For us it's about getting back to where we were when we started in the league. We always try to put good effort and we always try to play a good game of football.
"To say it's an advantage for us for them to be under pressure, I don't look at it like that. Hopefully we play a good brand of football and come out with a win. We are going there with our own plan and we are not worried about what is going on with Chiefs. This is a completely new season.

"History doesn't count and it's about what happens on the day. Because we have prepared, we feel we can go out and display a good brand of football against Chiefs. We have to play very well. You don't have to do any motivational talk with the players. Playing against a big team, they always come to the party. What you have to be careful of is that you don't be complacent. We have done a lot of work in the last two weeks in order to prepare ourselves mentally and physically. Everybody is looking good. We are going to play for a win," Johnson told Dikwena's official website.
