Orlando Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer was delighted to see Zakhele Lepasa come off the bench and score the winning goal on Saturday.
Lepasa bagged his first goal of the Absa Premiership season with just seconds after coming on in the second half as the Buccaneers claimed a 2-1 win over SuperSport United on Saturday afternoon.
Zinnbauer has revealed that the 25-year-old has been itching to get on the field for the Soweto giants, who have now ended their six-game winless rune.
"He [Zakhele Lepasa] gave us options in the last training sessions, he gave us signals that 'I'm ready, I'm ready', yes you need a bit of luck as a coach, you bring him in and with his first touch he scored.
"I'm happy he scored, he made good work. Long time he waits and comes in and now he gets the success, I'm happy about this.
"The last two games is a quick [turnaround] I know but the next game is important for me, now it's important we have a good recovery and we have to see what will happen," he added.
