AC Leopards coach Joseph Marius Omog was pleased to secure a point in their 0-0 draw with Orlando Pirates in Soweto on Saturday.
It was a good start for the Congo side in the CAF Champions League group stages and the coach admitted that they had come to South Africa with defensive tactics in mind.
The visitors defended desperately at times in the second-half and relied on some crucial saves and blocks to keep out the Sea Robbers.
"I am satisfied with the result for getting one point. We had a tactic for defending because we came with good defenders. We tried to defend properly at the back and that is what earned us the point. It's a good point for us," he said.
Asked if the result gave them confidence of getting an even better result in their next meeting with Pirates outside of South Africa, the coach remained cautious, saying that they will need to prepare properly.
"No, we don't think about that because Orlando Pirates is a good team. We need to prepare properly," he added.
