Eden Hazard continued his fine form by netting a brace in Chelsea's 5-0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Chelsea opened the scoring after 19 minutes. Eden Hazard was the goal-scorer, cutting inside before unleashing a low strike into the bottom right corner.
A minute later Marcos Alonso made it 2-0 for Chelsea. Everton committed an horrendous error defensively as Pedro capitalised by winning the ball in the critical area. The Spaniard teed up Hazard who in turned teed up Alonso to slot home.
The Blues managed to grab a third goal just before the halftime break when Diego Costa found the back of the net with a fine finish.
The game went into the interval with Chelsea in a commanding 3-0 lead and with Everton having all to do in the restart.
Things went from bad to worse for Everton as Hazard made it 4-0 in the 56th minute with another superb finish at the near post.
In the 65th minute Pedro registered a goal of his own to make it 5-0. It was the initial shot by Costa that fell perfectly for Pedro. who slammed home from close range.
Antonio Conte's charges managed to see out the remaining stages with relative ease, as they moved top of the Premier League table.
