Former Orlando Pirates fan favourite Kermit Erasmus has been featuring regularly for Rennes this season, but did you see this hilarious video of the striker protecting the ball?
The forward's French team beat Marseille 3-2 a couple of week ago, a game that saw Erasmus come off the bench to play for eight minutes.
In a bid to waste time, a short corner was taken and the ball was passed to Erasmus, who was given the job of holding the ball at the corner flag.
As we know, the striker isn't by any means tall, but in this video that he retweeted, he showed unbelievable strength to fend off the opposition.
Check out the clip:
The caption in French, translates to: "Kermit was ready to give his life to protect the ball."
Do you think Erasmus should be in the Bafana squad for the match against Burkina Faso?
