As reported in issue 997 of Soccer Laduma, Ea Lla Koto decided not to sign the goalkeeper after he spent some time training with the team.
The Alexandra United player was rated one of the best goalkeepers in the ABC Motsepe League last season. The player's agent, Siya Mareke of YoBoy Management, told the Siya crew he isn't happy that Stars kept the shot-stopper training with the team for so long and did not sign him.
"Why did Stars keep my player for over eight weeks promising him Heaven and Earth? You can't tell me that they needed two months to see how good he was. SA clubs need to learn that an unknown player requires a maximum of a three-week trial. What a waste. Dlamini missed out on a University of Pretoria deal. All this drama messed up his mind and killed his spirit, so I had to motivate him again," Mareke told the Siya crew.
Stars' general manager, Rantsi Mokoena, told the Siya crew the team is covered in the goalkeeping department.
