Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly upset with manager Rafael Benitez and has stopped talking to the new Los Blancos boss.
Benitez refused to name the Portuguese superstar as the world's best player in the off-season and this has annoyed Ronaldo to the point that he is no longer speaking to the manager.
The situation is reportedly so tense that Ronaldo didn't even want to appear in an official photo with Benitez, according Spanish TV show El Chiringuito and daily publication Sport.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea tactician has reportedly asked the club's general manager, Jose Angel Sanchez, to intervene and calm waters.
However, it has been claimed the Portugal captain is not ready to end his silence towards Benitez.
Ronaldo's situation could turn into a serious dressing room problem for Benitez, who has also clashed with captain Sergio Ramos and striker Karim Benzema recently.
The Portuguese forward has scored 10 goals in nine games this season, but those strikes came in just three matches.
He has failed to find the back of the net in the six other fixtures and has now gone four La Liga games without scoring.
