Holders Orlando Pirates will be eyeing a spot in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup when they host Hungry Lions on Saturday evening .

Pirates booked their spot in the quarter-finals after hammering fourth-tier side Crystal Lake 6-0, with Tapelo Xoki scoring a brace and the other goals scored by an own goal from Adam Khumalo, Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanganyi and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

The Buccaneers will be in high spirits, as they are coming off a Soweto derby victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

A brace from Monnapule Saleng and another goal by Thabiso Lebitso handed them a 3-2 win over their rivals in the DStv Premiership after coming from behind twice to cancel out goals by Ashley Du Preez.

Jose Riveiro will not be able to call upon the services of Lebitso, who is suspended due to accumulation of yellow cards.

Lions, on the other hand, booked their spot in the last 16 after edging fellow Motsepe Foundation Championship side JDR Stars 1-0 in extra-time in the last 32.

Ditau Dia Rora have played two league games since then and after thrashing Milford 3-1, they went on to lose 2-1 to University of Pretoria the previous Friday.

The Northern Cape outfit are lying sixth in the MFC standings.
