AmaZulu will be looking to bounce back in the Nedbank Cup when they clash against Royal AM in the last 32 on Thursday evening at King Zwelithini Stadium.

AmaZulu had a losing start in the resumption of the DStv Premiership after they were thrashed 3-1 by basement side Cape Town Spurs.

Usuthu will also be looking to erase the embarrassment of being knocked out by third-tier side Dondol Stars in this tournament last season in the round of 16, on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in extra-time.

Royal AM, on the other hand, will be aiming to build on their goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

Thwihli Thwahla reached the quarter-finals of the tournament last season but were knocked out by Chiefs after a 2-1 defeat in extra-time.

Royal AM will be with Mzwandile Dlamini owing to suspension.

The sides have completed their league meetings, with Usuthu having the upper hand after they followed a goalless draw in the first round clash with a 3-0 victory in the reverse in December last year, with Augustine Kwem netting a brace and the other goal scored by Mondli Mbanjwa.
