Holders Orlando Pirates will start the defence of their Nedbank Cup title when they visit Crystal Lake on Saturday afternoon at Mbombela Stadium.

The Buccaneers restarted their DStv Premiership season with a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend, where they came back from a man, after Miguel Timm was red-carded and a goal down to salvage a point, as Tapelo Xoki cancelled out an opener from Marcelo Allende.
The Soweto giants were crowned champions of this tournament last season after they came back from a goal down to beat Sekhukhune United 2-1 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Pirates will be without Timm due to suspension.
As for Crystal, they will be making their debut in the tournament after edging Middleburg United 1-0 in the Mpumalanga provincial final.
Lake were only established last year and are campaigning in the SAFA Ehlanzeni Regional League, in the fourth-tier of South African football.
The amateur side are second in the Hollywoodbets Regional League and trail leaders Liver Brothers by four points.
Liver Brothers were hammered 6-0 by Sekhukhune United in the last 32 last season.
