Orlando Pirates will be aiming to keep their CAF Champions League hopes alive in the DStv Premiership when they visit Royal AM on Sunday afternoon.

Pirates won their third game in a row in all competitions after edging ten-man AmaZulu 1-0 in the DStv Premiership thanks to a late goal by Tshegofatso Mabasa.

The Buccaneers are lying third on the standings, six points behind second-placed Stellenbosch, wirh six games left before they conclude their season.

The Soweto giants will be without Deon Hotto, Miguel Timm and goalkeeper Sipho Chaine due to suspensions.

Royal AM, on the other hand, picked up four points from their last two games after a 1-1 draw against Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby last weekend.

Thwihli Thwahla are lying 13th on the log with 29 points and are still in the running for a top eight position.

Pirates will be chasing a league double over John Maduka's charges after hammering them 4-2 in the reverse thanks to a brace by Zakhele Lepasa and goals from Monnapule Saleng and Bandile Shandu.

Royal AM's goals were scored by Sphiwe Cele and Mxolisi Macuphu.
