Kaizer Chiefs will be chasing back-to-back victories in the DStv Premiership when they visit Polokwane City on Saturday afternoon.

Chiefs bounced back from a Soweto derby defeat against Orlando Pirates with victory in another Soweto derby after edging Moroka Swallows 1-0 thanks to a late goal by Christian Saile.

The Glamour Boys find themselves in eighth position on the table with 17 points and will be aiming to climb up the ladder.

City, meanwhile, extended their winless run to five matches after a heavy 3-0 defeat to TS Galaxy the last time out.

Rise and Shine are placed tenth on the table with the same number of points as Chiefs.

The last meetings between the sides was in the 2019/20 season, where they cancelled each other out after Polokwane won the first round clash 1-0 away thanks to an early goal by Jabulani Maluleke.

Amakhosi turned the tables in the reverse, as they came back from two goals down to win 3-2 courtesy of second-half goals by Willard Katsande, Anthony Akumu and Samir Nurkovic.
