The Soweto giants will be hoping to for an improved campaign this time around after finishing outside of the top eight in Nasreddine Nabi's first season in charge.
Chiefs have bolstered their squad in the off-season by bringing in six players, including Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Flavio Silva and Siphesihle Ndlovu.
Supporters already got a glimpse of the signings a couple weeks ago when Chiefs lost to Asante Kotoko in the Toyota Cup.
Stellenbosch, meanwhile, have already got some miles under their belt after defeating AmaZulu 3-2 in extra-time of their MTN8 quarter-final last weekend.
Steve Barker's men will eager to get three points, especially considering they lost both league matches to Chiefs last season.
