Friday evening will see off the match between AmaZulu and Mamelodi Sundowns. Current PSL log leaders, Sundowns are feeling the heat as Orlando Pirates are just four points away from snatching the number one spot. This is a vital encounter for Pitso Mosimane and his charges.

On Saturday, Liverpool will host Newcastle in an EPL fixture. The Reds are currently two points adrift of second-placed Manchester United and will be hoping to take advantage of playing on their home turf against a Newcastle side that drew their previous match against Bournemouth.

Liverpool v Newcastle (English Premier League)

Match 6 Soccer 6 Pool 03 March V3 P2

League Rankings: Liverpool 3rd Newcastle 15th

Useful facts: Fresh from a 4-1 hammering of West Ham United, the in-form Reds will hope to continue with their impressive run when they take on struggling Newcastle on Saturday evening. The Magpies, who shocked Manchester United early in February, will be out to perform the same giant-killing act when they face Jurgen Klopp's charges. However, Rafa Benitez's side will have to do whatever it takes to stop a Liverpool side that has been clinical in front of goal in recent games. A goalless draw was the result the last time these two teams met.

AmaZulu v Mamelodi Sundowns (Premier Soccer League)

Match 1 Soccer 6 Pool 2 March S6 V1 P1

League Rankings: AmaZulu 10th Sundowns 1st

Useful facts: Pressure is mounting on Masandawana after playing to yet another draw against cross-town rivals, SuperSport United, last weekend. The log leaders have only managed to collect two points from their last two league encounters. They will look to come out guns blazing when they visit Usuthu, with hopes to gain maximum points as they try to extend the lead at the top and avoid being caught by either of the Soweto giants. However, Usuthu will look to bounce back to winning ways and fight for a spot in the Top Eight, having lost their two most recent league encounters. Pitso Mosimane's charges were stunned 2-1 by Usuthu in their previous encounter in the first round of the season.
