The PES 2020 Open World Finals was streamed live and featured some of the top players on PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam).
After a gruelling process, the players who participate at "Expert" level progress to the Regional Finals, and only then can qualify for the Open World Finals.
It was French side, AS Monaco, that proved most successful at the event, with the Xbox One and PC winners picking the Ligue 1 side, while FC Barcelona came out tops in the PS4 competition.
In the PC event, twitch_peazyyy from the European region triumphed, while the Americas grabbed the Xbox One title through ThePhenom3392.
The prize money and title in the PS4 event went to Asia, with madakanachappy and his FC Barcelona squad grabbing the victory.

Each player bagged $15 000 (R250k) for winning the Open World Finals, while players who finished within the top 9 all received a cash prize.
