Cameroonian forward Stephane Zobo could soon be on the radar of several clubs in South Africa’s Betway Premiership, with insiders revealing that there are growing plans to offer the player to teams ahead of the new season.
Zobo, a former Toulouse FC youth product, has had spells in Europe and North Africa and is now reportedly assessing opportunities that could bring him to Mzansi’s top flight.

Although no official offers have been tabled yet, those close to the player suggest that discussions are already underway behind the scenes.
“There is interest in South Africa, and the plan is to present Stephane’s profile to a few Betway Premiership clubs in the coming weeks,” a source close to the player’s camp told the Siya crew.
“He’s a dynamic forward, still young, and the belief is that his qualities would suit the South African game very well. The intention is to get him into the right environment where he can make a strong impact.”
Zobo, 24, is known for his pace, versatility, and technical ability – attributes that could appeal to clubs looking for attacking reinforcements.
With the transfer window open and several teams still finalising their squads, the timing may be ideal for his representatives to begin formal engagements.
While it remains to be seen which clubs may be approached or express interest, Zobo’s camp is confident that the player’s profile will attract attention in a league known for its flair and competitiveness.

“South Africa is a serious option right now. The conversations are happening, and once there’s a clearer picture, we’ll know where things stand,” the source told the Siya crew.
Zobo is currently a free agent, which could make negotiations more straightforward should a suitable opportunity arise in the coming weeks.
