Midfield maestro Sipho Mbule made waves online with his "Robalang" gesture during a post-match interview following Orlando Pirates' dramatic win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
Coming on as a substitute, Mbule played his part in Pirates' 4-1 penalty shootout victory after the teams played to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their MTN8 semifinal at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.
The midfielder confidently converted his spot-kick during the shootout, helping the Buccaneers secure a place in their fourth consecutive MTN8 final.
Speaking to SuperSport TV's Lwazi Ziqubu after the game, Mbule was asked about the emotion behind his celebration.
In response, he mimicked the well-known "Night Night" pose — placing his hands together and resting them on the side of his face — a move made popular by NBA star Steph Curry and seen locally from the likes of Themba Zwane.

Mbule's use of the celebration, locally dubbed the "Robalang," added a touch of spice to what was a fiercely contested cup semifinal, highlighting the significance of the victory for both him as a former Sundowns player and Abdeslam Ouaddou's side.
