The deal’s finer details remain under wraps, but Dolly was spotted at the weekend watching City’s opening Motsepe Foundation Championship clash against Venda Football Academy.
The player was already wearing Cape Town City's colours while sitting in the stands.
Dolly, who left Galaxy after his contract was not renewed ahead of the 2025/26 season, had been without a club but recently boosted his profile with a call-up to Molefi Ntseki’s Bafana Bafana squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
During CHAN, Dolly made several appearances, including a start in the 3-3 draw against Uganda, where South Africa bowed out of the tournament.
Having joined TS Galaxy midway through the 2024/25 campaign, Dolly quickly became a vital figure, featuring 18 times and scoring twice.
Now, he will aim to bring his experience and quality to City as they push to regain their Betway Premiership status after suffering relegation via the promotion/relegation play-offs.
