News coming out of KwaZulu-Natal is that two Betway Premiership sides are interested in signing a former TS Galaxy winger who has been spotted training with Mabhuti Khanyeza during the pre-season.
A South African talent spotter with connections to multiple clubs in the region has indicated that both Golden Arrows and newly promoted Durban City FC are believed to have enquired about the player in question.

The provincial football insider with knowledge of both clubs' recruitment plans has stated that the player is 24-year-old Sibongiseni Shelembe, who is currently a free agent.
"There is interest in Sibongiseni Shelembe. Teams have been watching him at Cato Ridge where Mabhuti Khanyeza and Tebogo Moloi have been conducting training for PSL players and those free agents. He is a former TS Galaxy winger and he is very good. For now I know that Golden Arrows and Durban City are believed to have enquired about him. And Mabhuti Khanyeza worked with him when he was at Galaxy as well," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A training camp observer who has witnessed the player's performances firsthand stated that he believes that if given the chance by whichever team, Shelembe will make it.
"Those teams which are apparently interested in him have seen what he is capable of doing during those training sessions and whoever signs him will benefit from him as he is still young and for now it's apparently Golden Arrows and Durban City who have shown interest and enquired about him," the second insider stated.
Soccer Laduma contacted scout and agent Tebogo Moloi who could neither confirm nor deny the interest from the two KZN clubs but talked highly about the young winger.

"At the moment I can't say which teams have shown interest in Sibongiseni Shelembe but what I can tell you is that whoever gets him will have signed a top winger. He could have been far by now but he was disrupted by the passing of his parents but now his mind is set and he is ready to play. I promise you if he signs for any PSL team this season he could be part of the Bafana Bafana 2026 World Cup squad. He is a very good winger that the country needs. That I can tell you," Moloi told Soccer Laduma.
This publication reached out for comment to both Durban City and Golden Arrows but there was no response at the time of preparing this story.
The potential acquisition of Shelembe would represent a minimum risk, high-reward opportunity for either KZN club. The focus may be solely on the player's ability to translate his training camp performances to the PSL stage. Moloi's strong endorsement, particularly his suggestion of high potential, indicates this could be a significant opportunity for a player seeking to restart his career after personal tragedy.
