After being previously linked to Eswatini Premier League side Moneni Pirates, former Royal AM owner Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize is believed to be interested in another club abroad.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Moneni Pirates were not for sale as they saw themselves as a "community team" which can't be run by someone outside their region.

Now, a football administrator with connections across Eswatini's top flight has indicated that MaMkhize is looking at Mbabane Highlanders from the capital city of the country.
"Yes, she was here in Swaziland and we believe that MaMkhize has been talking to the team's elders to take over the team from Bheki Rubber Simelane who was running the team last season. Talks are apparently still going on and things are looking positive on her side. We are just waiting for the final decision on that," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a leading figure with intimate knowledge of Mbabane Highlanders' internal politics stated that Simelane is still interested in running the club on his own again next season.
"The only tricky situation with MaMkhize taking over at Mbabane Highlanders is the current chairman Mr Simelane is still interested in continuing to run it. So, it will all go down to the elders of the club to decide who will run the club. But it's true MaMkhize is interested in taking over the team," the second source revealed.
Soccer Laduma contacted MaMkhize for comment on the matter but there was no response at the time of publishing this story.

This publication then contacted outgoing chairman Simelane, who confirmed that the club elders are looking at bringing in MaMkhize to take over the club.
"That's what they have told me. It's an unfortunate situation that the club finds itself in. I saved the club from relegation and spent a lot of my money on the team after someone had dumped them but now they are set to give it to MaMkhize. Well it's fine with me and I wish the club all the best going forward. I am a Highlanders man at heart and I don't want to see the team suffer and if MaMkhize will help the team to return to its past glory and compete for the league then I am happy with that," Simelane told Soccer Laduma.
MaMkhize is a well-known personality in South Africa's social circles, though of late she has faced challenges from the tax department, SARS.
