Cape Town City have confirmed the arrival of a former Kaizer Chiefs defender as they continue to prepare for life in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
The Citizens chairman John Comitis has been busy in the market to beef up their squad after letting go of a few players following their relegation from the top flight.

Their latest arrival is former Amakhosi defender Njabulo Ngcobo, a former PSL Defender of the Season.
Ngcobo was in the colours of Sekhukhune United last season, spending just one campaign with the club before they let him go.
The 31-year-old struggled to break into the line-up at Babina Noko, making just six appearances in all competitions. Ngcobo also struggled for regular game time at Chiefs until he was released at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Now a City player, Ngcobo will be hoping to make a positive impact and inspire a return to top flight football for the Citizens.
