A former Sekhukhune United player is targeting a return to competitive football after a long absence.
Having parted ways with Babina Noko at the end of last season, Mokoena struggled to get a new club in the DStv Premiership.

According to sources close to the player, the 29-year-old right-back is assessing his options with a view to return in the new season.
Indications are that Royal AM and Chippa United are some of the clubs targeted in the player's search for a new home.
"Luckyboy Mokoena is targeting a return to competitive football after being away from the game for a while. There is a possibility of him going to Royal AM for assessment as the team will be preparing for the new season," said the source.

"There are a few teams that would like to give the player a chance and Chippa United is one of them although for them it will depend on their fight against relegation," said the source.
