Since parting ways with City last year, Dubula has had stints with Cape Town All Stars and Mthatha Bucks respectively in the NFD.
As confirmed to the Siya crew from Vodia Players Management, who are Dubula's representatives, the player is currently with Mbombela for their pre-season training.
"Siyabonga Dubula is training with Mbombela United. He's doing well from what we have been told. The club will make a decision on him at the right time," confirmed Vodia Players Management's Gerald Baloyi.

Dubula, 23, had his talent nurtured at FC Cape Town before being noticed by the scouts of Cape Town City and lured to the club in January last year.
The attacking midfielder is on course to revive his career for a possible PSL return, following his unsuccessful stint with the Citizens.
