Fadlu Davids is unlikely to make a return to Orlando Pirates despite media reports linking him with a move back to the Soweto giants.
Reports recently claimed that Pirates had made an offer to the Simba SC head coach in an attempt to bring him back to Orlando.

However, Davids’ agent, Rasthoem Simons, has moved to clarify the situation.
“We have seen these reports. I can confirm that there was absolutely no contact with Orlando Pirates. Thus, there is no need to comment on declining the offer to return as there wasn't one. Coach Fadlu spent more than three years at the club, and we have the utmost respect for its processes,” Simons told the Siya crew, exclusively.
This follows recent speculation that both Pirates and Moroccan side Raja Casablanca had shown interest in the former Bucs co-coach.
Siya sources had also maintained that no talks had taken place regarding Davids’ possible return.
Currently, Davids is enjoying a highly successful spell with Simba SC. He has guided the Tanzanian giants to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, following a 1-0 aggregate win over Stellenbosch FC in the semifinals.
It marks the second time he’s reached this stage of the competition, having done so with Pirates in 2022.
