Former Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars forward Takesure Chinyama is setting his sights on a possible return to South African football, the Siya crew has learned.

Now officially part of the Dynamos FC technical team as the Strikers Development Coach and Assistant Coach, Chinyama has taken a major step forward in his coaching career.

The Zimbabwean, who also played in Poland during his successful playing days, holds a UEFA B License and is widely respected for his eye for goal and tactical sharpness.

The 42-year-old made his mark in Mzansi between 2012 and 2014, featuring for Pirates and Stars.

Now, as he begins a new chapter at one of Zimbabwe’s most storied clubs, the idea of one day coaching in the Betway Premiership is very much on his radar.

Speaking to the Siya crew, a source close to the coach said, “Takesure is taking his coaching journey very seriously. He’s learning every day, and he sees himself contributing to South African football in a big way in the future. The sky is the limit for him.”

Chinyama's role at Dynamos is seen as a game-changer for the club’s frontline, with his mandate focused on developing strikers and enhancing the team’s attacking identity.

With his experience and pedigree, many believe he has the potential to rise through the coaching ranks quickly – and a future role in the PSL may only be a matter of time.

For now, Chinyama remains focused on making a meaningful impact at Dynamos, but his ambitions clearly stretch beyond Zimbabwe’s borders.
