Chippa United are expected to have a new captain to lead the team on the field during their upcoming match against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Chilli Boys are scheduled to host the Brazilians at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane for their Absa Premiership match on Saturday night.
With the team's captain Mark Mayambela doubtful for the match, after he was reportedly left out of the squad that travelled to East London on Thursday, coach Eric Tinkler is expected to name a new captain to lead the side this weekend.

Mayambela was appointed as the captain of Chippa prior to the start of this season, under former coach, Dan Malesela.
Andile Mbenyane, who was the club's captain before being replaced with James Okwuosa in 2015, is expected to wear the captain's armband against Downs, according to sources in the know.

Mayambela, 31, will want to work on mending his relationship with Tinkler, which is seemingly under strain, following last weekend's events at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
After the Sundowns match, Chippa will be hosted by Kaizer Chiefs at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on November 10, according to an update on the dates and venues on the PSL's official website.
