South African striker Khanyisa Mayo faces an uncertain future, and an exit has not been ruled out as yet, Soccer Laduma understands.
Reports coming out of Algeria suggest CR Belouizdad are looking to terminate the contract of the former Cape Town City striker, but Soccer Laduma understands there is no agreement in place as yet over a termination.

An insider has revealed to Soccer Laduma that the club has signed more foreign players, so they need a slot to register them and Mayo could be sacrificed, possibly on loan to another club in Algeria.
“They (Belouizdad) have signed more foreign players than they can register,” an insider said.
Mayo joined Belouizdad, a club coached by Sead Ramovic, last season on a three-year deal. Mayo made 41 appearances in all competitions for the club and scored six goals. The 26-year-old now faces the possibility of leaving the club after just one season, after returning to Algeria to start pre-season training in July.

Mayo’s agent, Basia Michaels, recently told Soccer Laduma that the striker is happy to stay at the club, with two more years on his contract at the club. This was on the back of reports linking the striker with a move to Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
“Khanyisa has a contract at CRB. He's got two years left and he's happy to stay there. He wants to continue that journey. I've received no offers for Khanyisa because he had just signed a deal a year ago," Michaels said to Soccer Laduma.
The next few days will be important for Mayo as a decision on his future at the club is likely to be made.
