Ngezana was called up to Hugo Broos' latest Bafana Bafana squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria, but the start of the season has seemingly been a mixed one.
The 28-year-old recently received criticism after he was judged to have made two errors in FCSB's 2-2 draw against Rapid Bucuresti. The defender was nudged out of the way for the first goal before he was dispossessed for the second goal in stoppage time.
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender escaped a sending off when he caught FC Arges player Mario Tudose in the face with an overhead kick in a recent match.
The South African was unable to travel to Scotland to face Aberdeen in their first leg clash due to Visa issues, but he is likely to return to the starting lineup for the second leg.
Neatly poised at 2-2, FCSB owner Gigi Becali revealed he was happy to put his faith back in the former Amakhosi star, according to Sport Ro.
Becali cast doubts aside and revealed that he relies on Ngezana to stabilise the backline, and was hopeful that he would play a key role in nullifying Aberdeen's set-piece threat.
"We are already qualified. For them, it is the match of the century; we have solved the match of the century," Becali said.
When asked about Aberdeen's set-piece threat, he was quick to praise Ngezana.
"We will have a Ngezana on the field, right?" he said.

Victory for FCSB will send them into the UEFA Europa League group phase, while a loss would relegate them to the UEFA Conference League.
