A rival attacker has revealed that he expected Siyabonga Ngezana’s mistake late on in their match this past weekend as FCSB squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2.

This past weekend, the Romanian champions’ early-season woes continued as their winless run extended to four matches.
On Sunday, they came up against Rapid Bucuresti and, after goals from Mihai Lixandru and Daniel Birligea, the record Super Liga champions looked on course to win their first league match since the opening matchday of the campaign. However, things unravelled spectacularly for the Red and Blues late on in the match.
First, Elvir Koljic pulled one goal back for Rapid in the 82nd minute as he connected on a long throw-in before nudging Ngezana and back-heeled the ball into the back of the net.
It did not get better for the Bafana Bafana central defender moments later, as during the 91st minute, the Sebokeng native was caught on the ball just outside of his box and was dispossessed by teenage left-back Andrei Borza, who crossed the ball in for Koljic, who bagged his brace and equalised for his team.

After the match, the Romanian defender revealed how he capitalised on the former Kaizer Chiefs star’s defensive error. He said, as per Fanatik: "I watch FCSB matches and Ngezana doesn't really play long, he doesn't like that, he likes to fake shots (not to fake clearances). I expected that, I waited until the last moment to see what he would do, then we had a 1-on-1 duel, I took the ball and crossed. I didn't want to fall, I wanted to continue the phase and I'm glad that Elvir (not Koljic) scored there."
