Mamelodi Sundowns will kick off their Club World Cup campaign on Tuesday 17 June (Wednesday 18 June at 12 am in South Africa) against South Korean side Ulsan HD.
German giants Borussia Dortmund and Brazilian outfit Fluminense are also in Masandawana's group. The SA side will be looking to start strongly to give themselves the best chance to qualify for the last 16.
In an interview with Soccer Laduma, Chislett opened up on Sundowns' chances at the tournament and gave his thoughts on what to expect from The Brazilians.
"I think they've got every chance, obviously you never know in football," Chislett said.
"What I would say is that people are probably looking at Dortmund to be the favourites within the group I imagine," he continued.
Chislett, who spent his career playing in England with Wimbledon and Port Vale, was full of praise for South African football and acknowledged the talent of Sundowns' Lucas Ribeiro.
"I think anything can happen in football, especially the way South African football has been growing, and they've got some unbelievable players.
"I mean, is it Ribeiro? I mean from what I've seen, the little I've seen of him, he looks like a very, very good player. Talented player," Chislett said.
The 26-year-old pinpointed the game against the Germans as one to watch and said Sundowns stood a good chance of qualifying if they could get a result against the Germans.

"Dortmund will be a tough game. That'll definitely be a tough game. But again, if they can get a draw or a win out of that, you know, I think they've got every chance to get through," he concluded.
