The South Korean side plays Masandawana in their opening Group F game at the Club World Cup and both sides will be looking at the other as their best chance for victory in the group.
The two teams are paired with Brazilian outfit Fluminense and German giants Borussia Dortmund and anything less than a victory will put the two sides on the backfoot before their remaining games.
According to Maeli Business Newspaper, Ludwigson addressed the upcoming battle against Sundowns and admitted he was unsure of what his opponents had to offer.
"I don't know much, so I'm not sure what to expect," the Swede said.
"All I did was analyse while watching the video of the game. I think it's going to be a really difficult game. The stadium is in good condition, but it's really hot. We have to deal with this as well. It will be a difficult battle because both teams will think it is an important opportunity to win points," he said.
The ex-Hammarby striker compared the clash with Sundowns to a 'boxing match'.
"Also, like a boxing match, at first, you will try to grasp your opponent's strengths and weaknesses," he said.
"I have finished analysing my opponent, but it is still difficult to deal with him directly. The opponent is full of players with national team experience, just as there are many players from the Korean national team on our team," he added.
Ludwigson urged his side to play each game with confidence and said the game against Masandawana would not define their tournament.
"No team can overestimate or underestimate at the World Cup. In other games, an unexpected close game is coming out. Both teams may think it's a must-win game, but we don't know what's going to happen in the other two games," he said.

He concluded: "We have to fight with confidence and relax and think that we don't know what will happen until the end. Therefore, I don't think I need to be too obsessed with the idea that I must win the game on this day."
