The 27-year-old Racing Genk stalwart recently joined Ligue 1 outfit, Troyes, on a season-long loan as he embarks on the next stage of his career, with the club having the option to sign him on a permanent three-year deal if he impresses.
While the South African international hasn't met his new teammates yet, he says that he is really looking forward to what lies in store for him in France.
Speaking to SAFA ahead of this weekend's African Cup of Nations qualifier, Ngcongca said, "I haven't had a chance to meet my teammates, I only went there to sign and came to South Africa. I am really looking forward to the meeting and the new challenge that awaits me there. You will recall I have been in Belgium for nine years and I believe it was a good time for me to change.
"As you know that France is one of the top leagues around the world so it will fantastic to play against top players like Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Cavani, so I am really looking forward to that chance."
Ngcongca is expected to start for Bafana when they take on Mauritania in this weekend's vital AFCON qualifier in Nouakchott.
