AmaZulu forward Tshepang Moremi has enjoyed a successful 2024/25 season and his impressive performances have earned him a nomination for the Soccer Laduma Player of the Season award.
Moremi has enjoyed a breakout season under the guidance of Arthur Zwane and has notched three goals and seven assists in 27 league games in the Betway Premiership.
On average, the star gets a goal or assist in every third game. After multiple rounds of votes, Moremi is now in the top four for Soccer Laduma POTS which is based on the amount of votes a player receives from fans.
The 24-year-old attacker's impressive form has led AmaZulu to a top-eight charge and it is now during his third season with Usuthu where he has had an opportunity to showcase his talents.
Among Moremi's season highlights include two assists in the 2-0 win over Cape Town City and his first goal of the season in a 2-2 draw with Kaizer Chiefs.
Moremi remains hot property among the Betway Premiership's 'Big Three' team as Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns have expressed interest in signing the exciting forward.
Previous reports revealed that the Buccaneers were ahead of Amakhosi and Masandawana in the race for Moremi's signature but it remains too early to be seen who will land the AmaZulu forward or whether he'll stay for another year to hone his craft under the tutelage of Zwane.
