Since signing for Masandawana in 2022, the Chilean has mesmerised South African audiences across the country.
While his goalscoring record for Ka Bo Yellow has not been prolific — netting two goals in each of his three topflight seasons — the diminutive playmaker has shown his class by linking defence and attack. He controls matches with his intricate passing and his ability to retain possession in tight, high-pressure situations.
The 2024/25 campaign has been no different for the Pudahuel native. This season in the Betway Premiership, Allende’s passing has been at its most accurate since his arrival in South Africa.
According to SofaScore, the 26-year-old has a passing accuracy of 91.3%, a one percent improvement on last season. He has also increased his passing volume, completing 1,029 passes so far this campaign — 67 more than he managed during Rulani Mokwena’s final season in charge.
His performance against Marumo Gallants at the Dr Rantlai Petrus Stadium was a standout moment, kickstarting a three-game run in which he combined his midfield acumen with direct goal involvement. He scored against Gallants, before registering assists in the following two matches against TS Galaxy and Sekhukhune United.
