A second insider mentioned that deciding which players to let go won't be easy for the Brazilians, as the club can't afford to lose a significant amount of their key assets at once. This means they will have to be strategic about which players in which positions could even be considered to be allowed to sell.

"There is interest in about four key players like Peter Shalulile, Iqraam Rayners, Teboho Mokoena, Ribeiro Costa and now Allende. So, they will only decide when offers are tabled as they won't let all of them go at the same time. Again, remember, there is the downsizing of the squad. So, they will take all that into consideration before deciding who leaves," the second source revealed.
Allende, who once trained with English club Arsenal FC, joined Sundowns in 2022. His current contract ends in June this year, but the club is reported to have offered him a new two-year deal, potentially keeping him until June 2027 if he doesn't secure a move to Europe.
At 25, Allende has already featured in many Betway Premiership games this season, so it remains to be seen if all parties decide it's better he stays with Sundowns next year.
