Mamelodi Sundowns have won all of their six opening games of the Premiership campaign so far but former Orlando Pirates defender Ronnie Zondi believes Bucs should stick to their own game plan and not copy the Brazilians' blueprint for success.

Zondi spoke to Soccer Laduma in a one-on-one interview, expressing how he's impressed with Pirates coach Jose Riveiro.
"What I can say best is that the head coach (Riveiro) is grounded. We underestimated him in his first season and called him names but he did very well," Zondi told Soccer Laduma.
"What I have observed is that they can improve from strength to strength. The only thing they should do is keep the discipline and play as a team.
"They need each other as players. They should stick together and fight for one purpose. The players should rally behind each other whether they are playing or suspended, or injured or even not playing due to a drop in form," Zondi said.
The legendary defender then added that the most important factor for Pirates' potential success is for them to stick to their plan and not copy what Mamelodi Sundowns are doing.
"I believe they have their plan. They should not copy what Sundowns are doing because that will distract them. I know if they can stick to their plan they can achieve more even beyond Sundowns. They should stick to their plan and implement it to the letter and they will have a great season once again," Zondi told Soccer Laduma.
