By picking up the top goalscorer award on Thursday night, Orlando Pirates forward Gabadinho Mhango has broken a Bucs hoodoo that has been standing for 17 years!

With 16 goals apiece last season, Mhango shared the gong with former Highlands Park striker, Peter Shalulile.
The 28-year-old managed to become the first Pirates player to win the Golden Boot award since 2003, emulating the feat of late Pirates great, Lesley Manyathela, after whom the award is named.
Manyathela scored 18 goals in his debut season for the Buccaneers.
Mhango is seven goals shy of becoming Bucs' top goalscorer of the modern era - a title currently held by Thembinkosi Lorch, who has 24 strikes to his name for the club.
With Pirates kicking off their season with a win in the MTN8 over Cape Town City, it was Pirates' new acquisition Terrence Dzvukamanja who got the only goal of the match.
However, the Pirates faithful will be hoping that with new weapons in their arsenal, Josef Zinnbauer's men, led by Mhango, will be firing on all cylinders as they gun for glory this campaign.
