A South African striker's impressive performances have caught the eye of famous European clubs, with interest expanding beyond the initial suitors reported by Soccer Laduma earlier this year.
As first reported by the Siya crew, Scottish club Glasgow Rangers had previously shown interest in Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners who enjoyed a strong debut season with the PSL champions.

An insider with knowledge of European transfer networks has indicated that a Dutch giant is now interested in Rayners and have enquired about his availability from the Brazilians.
"Yes, there has been interest in him from Holland. It's a top club. It's believed that PSV Eindhoven are the club interested in him but at the moment things are with the office and there is nothing much we can say. But yes, they are believed to have their scouts even at the Club World Cup in the United States. So most of the information will be known once the team comes back from there. But apparently, the interest is high and strong," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a Chloorkop insider with insight into the club's transfer operations stated that the interest from Rangers has not died down yet as they were waiting for the British summer to make a decision.
"The point was not to disturb him during the season and that's why they had to wait until the end of the season. But now they will be looking at the Club World Cup first before going forward with the interest from Rangers as there is more interest from a Dutch club now. He is attracting interest from different European clubs actually," the second insider revealed.

The former Stellenbosch FC striker joined the Brazilians at the start of the current season and the 29-year-old has been in excellent goalscoring form for club and country. He came very close to the Premiership Golden Boot, narrowly beaten by teammate Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
The FIFA Club World Cup presents a significant opportunity for Rayners to showcase his abilities on a global stage, potentially strengthening his case for a European move. Rayners scored the winning goal in Sundowns' opening match 1-0 victory against Ulsan on Tuesday. They will play Bundesliga side Dortmund in their second match on Saturday.
Sundowns' stance on letting their star striker leave remains to be seen, especially as they continue to balance domestic dominance with continental ambitions.
